'A brilliant kennels - excellent in every respect
We use them every year and have done for many many years. Our dogs love going there and don’t want to leave when it’s time to pick them up! Bev and her staff are so good with them - could not ask for more. I used to worry leaving my dog while I went on holiday but that’s all changed thanks to Bev - it’s clear to see she really loves her ‘guests’! Would highly recommend Ty Gwyn.;

'Purpose built cattery - spotlessly clean. Can take your cats preferred food etc. Cats are kept separate (unless of course you have two cats that are from the same household and are happy in each others company) and have their own heated 'rooms'. I'd be happy to take my cat there again - I know that he will be safe and well cared for.'

'My 10 month old puppy Moss has just attended his first full day at Woof Club and I was so nervous as he can get a little overwhelmed but he absolutely loved it and is now exhausted! The girls have been so lovely and when I took him in for his trial afternoon they listened to my concerns/worries and made sure he was eased in to make sure it was the right option for him. 'Cecil absolutely loves going here. He doesn't give me a second glace when I drop him off and is always so excited to get out of the car and run in to see everyone.
He has stomach issues so we provide his food but they always follow the instructions and he is never ill when we get him back. He loves going here for his holidays!'

'Dobby our Pug loves going to Woof Club, we now have to spell it as he beserk when he hears the words woof club. The staff are fantastic and extremely good and professional at their jobs, the dogs are spoilt rotten by each and every one of them.
Yesterday Dobby was also booked in for a groom at the end of the day, we can't thank Lou enough for the fantastic job she did with Dobby, he not only looked great he smells wonderful too.
Thanks again to Ty Gwyn as they went out of their way to help us and brought Dobby home to us as we had a medical emergency here.
Ty Gwyn are in my opinion the best and most friendly kennels in Wales.

'As u all know our pets are our world so when our dog Billy needed kennels I contacted Ty Gwyn through a recommendation. He is aging, had never been in kennels, needed meds and couldn't run with the other dogs, so I was very emotional when leaving him the first time!!
The staff are brilliant with Billy and his neurotic mother (me)!! Whilst away I ask for updates and they send photos and nice texts. Billy has come home slimmer! has more energy and in great condition!! He's back there in September but I've not told him just yet!!!
They are flexible and will really try hard to fit your animal in if they can. I wouldn't take Billy anywhere else...5* defo....'

'I took my boxer puppy there' a few weeks ago' it's amazingly clean the gardens are a joy to walk through to get to the reception of the kennels. The staff are so helpful and seem to really enjoy getting know the new arrivals. I felt like my puppy was going to visit the spa rather than a boarding kennels. When I picked him up he was really attached to the staff lots of tail wagging and kisses etc, I have taken him back a few times since' and there's still lots of boxer body wiggles and kisses. A real sign that he's happy to go to the spa to visit his pals.;

'We have been taking our lab to Ty Gwyn's since he was a pup and he loves going there. He gets excited once he realises he is on the way there and runs in! He has a wash and groom at the end of his stay and comes back home happy and fresh. While he only goes once or twice a year we are treated like regulars. We couldn't recommend more highly!'

'We recently left our dog Coco at Ty Gwyn while we went on holiday, and I couldn’t be happier with how they looked after her. This was Coco's fifth stay at Ty Gwyn, and every time we drop her off, they make such a fuss of her to make her feel at ease. Coco had a little injury before her stay, but the staff took amazing care of her. They made sure she got the medication she needed and kept us updated the whole time.
Their regular updates on Coco’s progress really put our minds at ease. It was clear the staff at Ty Gwyn genuinely care about the animals. We wouldn’t leave her anywhere else.
I can’t recommend Ty Gwyn enough for their fantastic service and the loving care they provided. Thank you, Ty Gwyn, for looking after Coco so well and keeping us in the loop. It made our holiday so much more enjoyable knowing she was in such good hands.'

'Well what can I say except Thank you!!
We were soooo very nervous putting our 3 dogs into boarding for the first time ever...a mixture of breeds, ages and temperaments, we were unsure of how the working sheepdog would react.
But we need not have worried!!
The staff we spoke to at Ty Gwyn were lovely, listening to our concerns, reassuring us and following our instructions for the dogs.
I was dreading the drop off, the thought of the dogs not wanting to leave us, them crying, me having to walk away from them gave me so much anxiety and nightmares!!!
But once again, no need to worry!
We were greeted by 3 girls at reception, they got to know our dogs, giving them a fuss, which all the dogs loved and then they walked happily away from us to their kennels...not even looking back!!
On collecting our dogs the staff informed us all 3 had been absolutely fine, another sigh of relief!!!! ...we will definitely be using Ty Gwyn again and recommend to friends and family with pets!

'Millie our Labrador loves her stays at Ty Gwyn! 'I am the fussiest pet owner around and have ever boarded my dog anywhere before, however due to the Coronavirus pandemic I had no choice. I had to isolate and wasn't allowed to walk my dog - if anyone has a Boxer puppy they will know this isn't really an option! I left him at Ty Gwyn for just over a week and they updated me with videos and photos every day, he looked like he was having the most wonderful time and he barely even looked at me when I arrived to pick him up. I actually think he was disappointed to see me! Thanks so much to Bev for taking Koby in at such short notice and for being so considerate and accommodating.'

'We’ve just picked Molly up from her trial overnight stay at Ty Gwyn. This is the first time Molly has stayed away from home, as she’s always stayed with family before. Molly is a rescue dog with a not so nice past & can sometimes not enjoy being with other dogs. All this combined made me very anxious but after picking Molly up today I can’t thank all the girls at Ty Gwyn enough. They were completely accommodating to what Molly needed & this clearly showed as Molly didn’t want to leave and lay in reception for more belly rubs! We have already booked for Molly to come back'

'Best kennels in Mold, actually, in Wales! Our Yorkie David, absolutely loves going on his holiday which to be honest is probably 12 to 14 times a year, as we are frequently out of the country due to our jobs.
David absolutely loves his second mother Emma and we know she looks after David, why else would he be so so excited to see his other family. Great kennels great staff enough said I think!! Do not think you should consider elsewhere if your pet is paramount.'

'I’ve been to many groomers for my Akita and none compare to Lou at Ty Gwyn. She smashes it every time. She spends longer on the groom than others I’ve had and it shows. As long as Lou is at Ty Gwyn I will keep going back. Thanks guys'

'This Kennel is amazing. I have a 18 month old American Akita/Staffy cross female dog called Haze. We moved into to Mold 5-6 months ago and the house we moved into didnt accept dogs. We had to find a Kennel for my dog to stay at until we found a new property. Luckily I found this Kennel and they were happy to take her in for 6 Months. Its been 5 months now and today is the day I take her back. They have been amazing. The kennel is so clean, the staff are very friendly and amazing people. My dog has been happy staying there and we didnt have any problems at all. Honestly, I can recommend this kennel for anyone short or long term. They are professionals at their job. They have informed me about everything my dog requires including her due vaccinations, fleas and ticks, everything you can think of. They give the dogs the required exercise and try to squeeze extra time when they can. I appreciate everything they have done and I will definitely be using this kennel again when ever I need their help.'
