PET FIRST AID FOR CHILDREN LEVEL 2 (VTQ)

This course is based on our popular full pet first aid but is adapted for teaching children. It covers a reduced number of skills and it is taught in an easy to follow format, aimed at children. It is fun and engaging whilst still ensuring children are equipped to deal with emergency situations and understand how to handle pets inside and outside the home.

LOOSE LEAD WORKSHOP

Walking your dog shouldn't be unenjoyable, but for many that is often the case. Being able to walk your dog appropriately on the lead is a requirement in many situations, such as around livestock, traffic, or even simply a walk around the block, however it is still something that evades many dog owners, especially those with strong dogs and leads a lot of owners to dread dog walking. With our loose lead workshop, you can learn all of the tools required to work with your dog to make 'walkies' a fun and safe experience for both of you.

You will be required to bring your dog with you for the course, as you will be learning together. While the workshop will not involve your dog socialising with other dogs, if your dog is reactive or particularly anxious around other dogs, they may be more suited to 1-1 training so please get in touch with us to discuss something more appropriate for them.

BRINGING YOUR PUPPY HOME WORKSHOP

Bringing home a new puppy can be a very exciting but daunting experience. What should you feed them? How do I train them? Am I socialising them correctly? Why are they biting me 24/7?! Join us and our vet for a chat about how to make this period as straightforward and enjoyable for you and your puppy as possible.
